2018 1L Write-on Competition Information Meeting
Please fill out this information prior to the mandatory information session on April 2nd. This information is required if you wish to participate in the journal write-on competition.

PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT CODE
Students are required to work independently throughout the Writing Competition. Each individual who submits an entry to the Writing Competition is subject to the Emory University School of Law Professional Conduct Code. The casenote is to be written solely from the materials supplied in the competition materials. Students may not:
Discuss the Writing Competition, the casenote, or the citation quiz;
Review any casenote written by a student during a previous year’s Writing Competition, except for the sample casenotes provided in the research packet; or
Use independent research, additional cases, journal articles, or other outside materials, or discuss the topic with others.
The occurrence of any of the foregoing is a violation of the Emory University School of Law Professional Conduct Code and will result in automatic disqualification from the Writing Competition and possible sanctions by the Conduct Court.
